Berry Recognized Nationally

Doug Berry, Chamber VP of Economic Development,
Receives North America Top 50 Economic Developers Recognition

CLEVELAND, TN Doug Berry, Vice President of Economic Development for the Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce, was recognized as North America’s Top 50 Economic Developer by Consultant Connect.
As a consulting agency that is designed to bridge the gap between economic developers and site consultants, Consultant Connect also provides a platform for top economic developers to be recognized for their outstanding work that impacts communities across the country. Nominations were submitted by colleagues in both economic development and site location consulting industries. Some criteria include excellent practices, innovation, and success in building the communities they serve.
“This recognition could not be given to a better person. Doug is truly one of the hardest working people I’ve had the pleasure to work with. It’s evident in the amount of time he puts into projects and the passion he serves this community with that he not only wants success for this Chamber, but for this community and the future it will have. His efforts effect every single citizen and business in this community,” says Mike Griffin, Chamber President & CEO. He goes on to say, “By bringing in new industry and supporting our existing manufacturers, Doug continues to bring opportunities to many and makes Cleveland and Bradley County a better place to work and live.”
Each of the top 50 will be featured through select social media channels of LinkedIn and Twitter starting June 1. They will be sharing their industry knowledge, insights, and wisdoms they have obtained throughout their career. Recipients will be presented their award at an event in Atlanta, GA, in late November.
