2025 Free Enterprise Award Goes To Isaac Libbey

CLEVELAND, TN – The 2025 M.C. Headrick Free Enterprise Award, one of the highest awards given by the Chamber, is presented to Isaac Libbey, Owner of Best Buy Metals.  At the 99th Chamber Annual Meeting, set on Thursday, January 23, Isaac Libbey was honored as the 2025 M.C. Headrick Free Enterprise Award winner. This award honors the memory of one of the most outstanding businessmen Cleveland and Bradley County has ever produced, M.C. Headrick. Headrick was a man who believed wholeheartedly in the fundamental concepts of the Free Enterprise System. Honorees receiving this award must display success, high morals, growth of business, and contributions to community-oriented projects. Isaac Libbey’s passion for entrepreneurship and business began at an early age. His experience in construction and involvement with the engineering field only fostered that passion. In February of 2002, Isaac sold his first metal roof, starting the business now known regionally as Best Buy Metals. In 2007, the national division was created. With a focus on reaching new customers through online marketing, the company and its products were propelled further into Tennessee, surrounding states, and nationwide. In its 22 years in business, the company has grown from a single staff member, one location, and $96K in sales to now standing as a powerhouse in the industry with more than 180 employees spanning eight divisions, locations in four states, and a projected $64M in projected sales in 2024. All this was done under the direction and leadership of Isaac Libbey. But what truly sets Isaac apart is his deep-rooted commitment to giving back. Through Arms of Hope, the orphanage he founded in Haiti, to his active involvement in Habitat for Humanity, the United Way of the Ocoee Region, and countless local initiatives, Isaac leads with a heart for service. He has also made significant contributions to the communities where Best Buy Metals operates, including donating roofing materials to various projects and individuals in need.
