Direct Support Professional (DSP)

To assist licensed and/or professional staff in the development and implementation of individual support plans for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Qualifications

1. Must be 18 years old or older for Day and Residential and 21 years old for ECF.
2. Driver’s license preferred (impacts the shift a DSP can work)
3. Successful completion of Agency’s comprehensive training program. 
4. Must pass drug screen
5. Satisfactory background check
6. Satisfactory reference checks
7. High School or equivalent preferred for Day and Residential.  HS or GED for ECF.

1. Must be able to lift 25 lbs
2. Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stop
3. Must be able to regularly use hands to fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, and/or controls
4. Required to regularly stand and walk
