PPP Loans--Latest Updates and Info

The Economic Aid to Hard-Hit Small Businesses, Nonprofits, and Venues Act that passed in the final days of 2020, set aside $284.45 billion for the Second-Draw Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans. Join us for a virtual session on Friday, Feb. 25 at 8 a.m. for the answers to the 20 most-asked questions about the latest PPP, including the following:

  • Who is eligible to apply for a second-draw PPP?
  • Do I need to reapply to get a second-draw PPP?
  • Can I use payroll costs from 2020 to determine my maximum PPP loan amount?
  • I am an independent contractor. Can I get a PPP?
  • Where can I find a lender for the PPP?

Our presenter will be Ann Zack with the Small Business Development Center at Cleveland State Community College (TSBDC). Ann has been a Small Business Specialist at the TSBDC for two years. She is currently studying for her MBA at UTC,  owns a small business with her husband in Chattanooga, and likes nothing better than sharing her hard-earned knowledge about cash flow (or the lack of it), taxes and marketing with TSBDC clients.

This session is free for Chamber members. Zoom meeting information will be found in the confirmation email you receive after registration.
