‘Food for Thought’ – City Fields, Dustin Tommey keynote
City Fields Community Development Corporation executive director, Dustin Tommey will speak for the June 21 “Food for Thought” luncheon with an update about the City Fields CDC initiative formerly known as Impact Cleveland.
City Fields has been instrumental in empowering residents of the Blythe Oldfield community of SE Cleveland to influence positive change in the community. City Fields has been successful in leveraging and/or administering over $7 million dollars of grants/investment over the past four years into their focus area. Given City Fields' track record, and the significant momentum that is growing in/around Cleveland's Central Business District area, the future of looks very bright for downtown and its surrounding neighborhoods.
City Fields is an independent 501(c)(3) Community Development Corporation whose aim is to be a catalyst for change in Cleveland's most overlooked neighborhoods. City Fields focuses on 5 "fields" that promote holistic and equitable revitalization as follows:
