On October 5, Dr. Luis Almeida will help us rethink technology by providing a model for why we are so ingrained with our own technological devices. Attendees will find out where they fall in the human robot cycle and how their results impact their work in the media field. Almeida is an associate professor of communication at Lee University. He has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Pittsburgh Tribune Review, and Radio CBN for his work in leadership and technology. He has presented over 70 conference presentations and published academic articles in three continents related to media. Almeida is also the author of multiple books, including Amazon’s #14 best selling book in the Memoirs of Educators category, “Becoming a Brand: The Rise of Technomoderation.” The meeting fee is $10 (free for members). For an additional $10, a lunch from Sandellas Flatbread Cafe is available.
