Heartworms are a potentially fatal, but treatable disease, spread by mosquitos. Year-round heartworm prevention & an annual heartworm test are vital to their health! On Friday, June 15 & Saturday, June 16, Appalachian Animal Clinic is hosting a Heartworm Clinic. During the two-day Heartworm Clinic, heartworm tests are reduced to $30 and no veterinary exam required. If the pet tests negative for heart worms, you can purchase up to a 1-year supply of heartworm prevention. Appalachian Animal Clinic is currently offering specials on heartworm prevention. If the pet tests positive for heart worms, a veterinary exam is required to evaluate your pet's health and discuss treatment options. The exam cost will be reduced to $25.
